Arriving with a Family: What You Need to Know

Moving to a new country with a family can be stressful but don’t worry, we have you covered with information on schools boards, family groups, public transport, healthcare (and more!) to make your transition a little easier. Explore our guides here to find out what to expect when you are moving your family to Canada.

Important

You must keep your family in status throughout your entire stay in Canada. Be sure to ask IRCC if your spouse and children are covered for the full duration of your work permit. If not, know the dates by which your spouse and children need to renew their status. Do not let any member of your family lose status at any time.
